Why Our Work Matters
Every day, polluting industries contaminate our air, water, and land with toxic chemicals that damage our health and threaten our quality of life.
In addition to increasing climate disasters, globally, exposure to pollution from these industries has been linked to:
→ infertility and adverse birth outcomes,
→ neurological and developmental effects in children,
→ asthma and other respiratory conditions,
→ cardiovascular diseases,
→ pre-mature death,
→ cancers, and more.
We deserve better.

How We Create Change
We defend and fight for your right to clean air, safe water, and a healthy community by tackling four key issues:
Fossil fuels — used to make plastic (aka petrochemicals) — pollute and damage our health and our natural resources. Transitioning away from an overreliance on dirty energy will help create a healthier, more prosperous future.
Clean energy sources are environmentally and economically more sustainable, and are a powerful way to reduce the often irreversible health and environmental harms caused by extracting and processing fossil fuels.
We advocate for strong environmental protections that will protect our land, air, and water quality, as well as advance a clean energy economy.
Protecting our health and land means protecting our democracy. We empower voters to take action, ensure polluters operate within legal limits, and hold legislators accountable to represent those who put them into positions of power.
