Cornerstone Solar — a 200-megawatt solar energy project in Jefferson Township, PA — is projected to give previously unusable land and its community a huge economic boost.

This solar project will:

✅ deliver ~$1.6M in local tax revenue over its lifespan,

✅ generate 400+ local construction jobs and permanent local positions,

✅ produce enough electricity to power 34,000 homes for a year,

✅ diversify local energy supply, and

✅ bring homegrown, affordable energy and economic opportunity.

The Jefferson Township Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on March 12th, 2026, to consider granting Cornerstone Solar the conditional use permit it needs to proceed.
